manufacturer of polypropylene fittings
Polypropylene connections, as their name suggests, are a type of connections that are made of polypropylene materials (with the Latin name Polypropylene). Polypropylene is a unique and very special raw material and is considered one of the most powerful polymers in the plastic industry. One of the most important features of this raw material is its high flexibility and non-cracking. This feature has caused plastic materials made with polypropylene to be used in various industries and applications, and it is added to its uses day by day. Another feature of this type of connection is the ease of use and, as a result, increasing the speed of piping and changing branches. This feature has caused that over time, galvanized joints have been abandoned and joints made with polypropylene material have been used in various industries. In the past, in order to use galvanized products, the device of kalaviz, hemp and paste was used for piping and sealing. Using this tool was a time-consuming and lengthy task, and the possibility of pipe rusting and water contamination increased.
When are polypropylene joints used?
Polypropylene pipes and connections are single-layer pipes that have replaced the metal pipes that were used in the building's plumbing system. In the past, metal pipes were generally used for building plumbing. The weight of these pipes and the possibility of rusting and leaking were very high. PP pipes are available in white (known as water white pipe and fittings) and green (known as green pipe and fittings). White pipes and fittings are the most common types used in drinking water piping in office and residential buildings. These types of pipes are installed in parts of the building that are not exposed to direct sunlight.
Application of polypropylene joints
Since the uses of white pipes and fittings are more than green pipes and fittings, the production line of these types of pipes is also wider. This type of fittings are often produced and supplied in 1/2 inch (20 mm) to 3 inch (90 mm) sizes. White pp pipes and fittings are connected to each other using an electric device called an iron. A pliers-like tool is also used to cut these pipes. The temperature resistance of this type of pipe and fittings is very high (they have a melting temperature of 160-180 degrees Celsius) and they also show high resistance against contact with strong acids and bases. Therefore, they can be used for drinking water piping in various industries. Green pipes and fittings are also usually used in alkaline and acidic environments for building piping, heating installation piping, food industry piping, compressed air lines, piping Shipbuilding industries, solar heating systems, hotel piping, hospital piping, industrial sewage piping, etc. are used.
Application of White Connections
White pipes and fittings, also known as PP-R, are made of polypropylene random copolymer type 3 raw materials and have an appearance similar to ordinary plastics. These types of pipes can withstand a pressure of 20 bar at a temperature of 20 °C and a pressure of 10 bar at a temperature of 85 °C.
The most important uses of white pipes and fittings are the following:
- لوله کشی ساختمانها و آپارتمانهای بزرگ و کوچک؛
- لوله کشی سیستم آب و فاضلاب ساختمان؛
- لوله کشیهای تاسیسات سرمایشی/گرمایشی؛
- لوله کشی کارخانجات صنعتی؛
- لوله کشی در محیطهای اسیدی و قلیایی؛
- ایجاد عایق الکتریکی و فیزیکی برای تاسیسات برقی ساختمان؛
types of polypropylene fittings in Tabriz
White welded knee: White welded knee is produced and supplied in 45 and 90 degree angles and with sizes of 1/2 to 3 inches (20 to 90 mm). This type of connection is used to change the direction of the pipe (with an angle of 45 or 90 degrees). The white welded knee does not have a branch and can only deviate the path of the pipes.
PP welding tee: PP welding tee is used to increase or decrease the branching of pipes. These types of connections are produced and supplied in sizes of 1/2 to 3 inches (20 to 90 mm). A typical welding tee has 3 ends with equal diameters. Conversion welding tee has two ends with equal diameter and one end (umbilical) with smaller diameter. When the goal is to change the branching and change the volume of fluids, the conversion welding tee is used.
Three-way metal bushing: Three-way metal bushing is a type of connection, the two ends of which are connected to the white pipe using a special polypropylene welding machine, and the other end (the umbilical), which has a threaded metal bushing, is screwed to Other fittings and pipes are connected.
Simple bushing: Simple bushing is a cylinder-like piece that is produced and supplied in sizes of 1/2 to 3 inches (20 to 90 mm). Since this part does not change the volume of fluids or change the direction of pipes, it is usually used to connect pp pipes of the same size that are in a straight line.
Polypropylene conversion bushing: Polypropylene conversion bushing is similar to a simple bushing; But since it performs the conversion action (changing the volume of fluids), one end is smaller than the other end. Polypropylene conversion bushing is produced in sizes of 1/2 to 3 inches and is used when the goal is to reduce/increase the size of the pipe and change the volume of fluids.
Ribbed metal elbow: One end of the ribbed metal elbow is quite simple and is connected to the white pipes using an iron. The other end of the gear metal bushing elbow is equipped with a gear metal bushing and it is possible to connect threaded galvanized fittings and various valves to it.
PP White Flake Valve: As the name suggests, PP White Flake Valve is used to control the flow of fluids (opening and closing the pipeline). This piece is only connected to pp pipe and fittings and there are no threads on its two ends. As a result, it can be connected to pp pipes only by using an iron device and with a very high temperature.
Benefits of Polypropylene Connections
PP connections have many advantages. Some of these benefits include:
- چگالی کم؛
- انعطافپذیری و خاصیت کشسانی بالا؛
- مقاومت زیاد در برابر مواد اسیدی و بازها؛
- طول عمر زیاد؛
- هزینه اجرای کمتر نسبت به لوله کشی فلزی؛
- مقاومت بالا در برابر پوسیدگی و ترکخوردگی؛
- سهولت نصب و سرعت اجرای بالا.
Features of Polypropylene Fittings
PP white and green pipes and fittings have a unique chemical structure and due to their many advantages, they can be used in all kinds of water supply projects such as agricultural drip irrigation, urban water supply, urban water and sewage system, industrial piping. and... used. Due to the ease of installation and high speed of operation of these pipes, most plumbers and installers prefer to use them.
